Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a part of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. While serving as SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors as well as text coaches. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director of lighting and design for SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her roles include a variety of other shows apart from acting. The daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two of her siblings within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She did a brief stint at Pomona College. In a private note, Post was previously engaged to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They share two daughters. Post inspires numerous Hollywood actors since she's an amazing actress as well as the an ideal mother and wife.
