Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel, and jazz into the style that is his own. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs Avery Sunshine has been a hit all over the world. Sunshine is a name that she has given her was Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta but her origins are in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by singing and playing the piano in a church. She studied at Spellman College and began to master the R&B style of Atlanta. In 2005, she was employed to be the main keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy- as well as Tony Award winning vocalist who was part of the stage production Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, contacted her about being the choral leader for the production. Sunshine was the subject of national media interest during four consecutive shows at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was then invited to sing at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009.
