Kolber was born in Pennsylvania has earned her master's education at the University of Miami. After moving to New York City, she began her professional life as a CBS Sports Video Coordinator. While working at WTVJ-TV, Miami, she was awarded an Sports Emmy. Additionally, she was employed by WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. The station hired her to anchor ESPN2 in 1993. She remained at ESPN2 till Fox Sports hired her. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN and is currently host of the show 'Monday Night Countdown'.
